The English Diarist Samuel Pepys wrote to Sir Isaac Newton in 1693 to ask for his help with this probability question about a gambling contest with three players;
A has 6 dice in a box and has to throw at least one six.
B has 12 dice in a box and has to throw at least one double six.
C has 18 dice in a box and has to throw at least one triple six.
Question - do the players all have the same chance of winning?
