This is not a QHE question. It's just a bit of fun with Nuclear Reactor cores.
A particle, originally positioned at the centre, is moving randomly in a reactor core. The random movement in the 6 possible directions is simulated by throwing a die. What is the expected number of trials before the particle escapes?
